Beginning January 26, 2026, Crow Valley Surgery Center will officially change its name to ORA Surgery Center. Our new, state-of-the-art facility will be located on the ORA Orthopedics campus at 5250 Competition Drive, Bettendorf, Iowa.

While our name and location are new, the care you trust remains the same – the same experienced surgical teams, the same high standards of safety, quality, and personalized care, and the same commitment to your health.

Important Update about UnitedHealthcare Coverage

We want to inform you of an important change regarding our participation with UnitedHealthcare (UHC). Despite almost a year of attempted good-faith negotiations, UnitedHealthcare (UHC) has refused to agree to fair reimbursement rates that adequately covers the rising costs of healthcare and allows us to continue providing high-quality care. Their position leaves us with no choice but to terminate our contract.

This decision was not made lightly. We entered negotiations with one goal: to continue providing you with the excellent care, while ensuring that we are reimbursed fairly for the services we deliver.

Endoscopic Lumbar Microdiscectomy

SPINE CENTER | ORA Spine Surgeon, Dr. Mohammed Hussain, successfully performed the first Endoscopic Lumbar Microdiscectomy in the state of Iowa this spring at ORA Surgery Center with the assistance of fellow ORA Spine Surgeon, Dr. Myles Luszczyk. This established, ultra-minimally invasive procedure has gained increased interest and adoption throughout the country and is now offered in the Quad Cities. New Orthopedic Campus

ORA Surgery Center and ORA are proud to announce plans to relocate the Bettendorf orthopedic clinic and outpatient surgery center, currently located on 53rd Avenue, Bettendorf, to a new state-of-the-art facility located adjacent to the TBK Bettendorf sports complex.

Planning the new campus has begun and construction is expected to begin this summer. Construction is estimated to be complete in early 2026. Read more!
